Underwater photography is my absolutely passion. Not only do I love the freedom that comes from swimming and just documenting what I see, but I love that I don't really have to direct my subjects. People are natural in the water. They don't feel the need to send a smile to the camera and I don't have to worry about stiff awkward posing. My son also loves the water. He is not a fan of above water photography. He hates it when I get my camera out (for the most part) but he doesn't mind one bit when I take photos in the pool.

We spent the weekend at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV. I've been there before and I almost didn't bring my GoPro Hero4 Silver or the dome.cam attachment because it's an indoor pool and the windows are mostly covered. But I brought it at the last minute and I'm so glad that I did! I was able to capture the most beautiful images - even rays of sunlight - in a pool that was built in the early 1900s. Pretty amazing! I did bump down the kelvin temp because of the yellow overhead lights and I bumped up the ISO to 800. See for yourself my before and after shots and tell me what you think! xo, tessie
